Communication Technologies 2nd week
Week 2
. Wow, what a way to kick off the school year. I wanted to kill some time since I was bored so I decide to take another class. Since I was already taking 17 credits I was looking for something that would be a little bit easier. But then I decided that Remedial Reading was going to be way too simple so I decided to give Communication Technologies a try.

. After the first week I thought that maybe I had made a mistake. When I signed up I thought we were going to be doing simple things like Email and Instant Messaging. Then when I got to class the instructor started talking about wierd things I had heard of but never new what they were such as RSS Feeds. Some of the things like Facebook I have heard of but didn't have a clue about there usefullness outside of being a teen. There were still others like Twitter that I am almost sure are a passing fad like Pokemon, Tamagotchi, and doing the Macarena.

. Well week 2 is done and in the books and suddenly some of these things don't look so scary anymore. Today in class we learned about RSS, Wiki, Podcasting, Social Networking and Blogging. One of our ongoing assignments for this term is to do a Blog hence the words that are on this page. I'm still not sure about some of the stuff we will be doing but hey I'm willing to give it the old college try. Which is probably a good thing since I'm a student at Moraine Park Technical College.

. Since this is my first ever blog I'm going to end it here. You will need to tune in at some future point to hear more about me in this class. When you ask? Well I will actually try to post an entry every week after class. Until then - BUH-BYE.
